
The Focus
We were focused on developing a packaging system that would:
- Communicate the luxury and effectiveness of saffron as the hero ingredient.
- Create visual differentiation in the wellness and skincare segment.
- Blend authentic Ayurvedic values with contemporary packaging aesthetics.
- Establish a design language that could be extended across product categories under the same skincare line.
The Design
The Saffron Silk box packaging was designed to feel both premium and purposeful. We added a dual-layered box structure, with a special compartment to hold the glass bottle and dropper securely, for a better unboxing experience and safety. The typography was clean and sophisticated, balancing legacy and sophistication.


Key Design Elements
Color Palette: We employed rich saffron gold, warm beige, and deep maroon, representing purity, richness, and earthy elegance. These colors reference both the ingredient and the tradition of the creation.
Lady Vector: The graceful lady iconography on the front honors Indian feminity and tradition. She serves as a muse, illustrating the Ayurveda self-care rituals and creating visual appeal and brand recognition.
Premium Compartment Design: Internally, the oil bottle and dropper were given a special insert, which protects the product and makes it look even more precious, like a jewel. This level of detail says a lot about the premium quality of the product.
Botanical Illustrations: Delicate leaf and floral motifs inspired by Ayurvedic herbs create a visually narrative element without taking away from the organic nature of the design.
Saffron Glow Face Sheet Mask
For the Saffron Glow Face Sheet Mask, the objective was to keep the visual consistency with Saffron Silk but adapt the design for the sachet size. The color scheme and illustration style were adapted to a flexible pouch, with a more bold layout and prominent callouts for benefits like hydration, glow, and pigmentation reduction.
The female vector on the pack was dressed differently, this time with a mirror, which is the reflective sheen and the beauty imparted by the product. The back side featured simple-to-use illustrated instructions to use, which made it informative, approachable and retail-friendly.
